147 gr 9mm load data
I just started reloading 9mm probably two month ago I think. Previously, I was reloading 357 magnum using some berrys 158's. After a little bit of reading, I saw some pretty good reviews of Xtreme as a whole. I decided to give them a try. My order did take close to a week, maybe a week and a half to ship but that is about the only negative.Always cross-reference load data with manufacturer’s published data. Most suggested 147gr. I have xtreme 147gr RN. The powders I can choose from are Power Pistol, Silhouette, Bullseye, CFE Pistol, Unique, Titegroup and 231. I have found some suggested loads but many are for lead bullets and the OAL ranges from 1.100" to 1.165".

Posted December 13, 2009. I have 4 pounds of bullseye I need to use and the 147gr 9mm bullets seem to do a good job of knocking down the steel. Just wondering if anyone has a pet 9mm load using 147 gr 9mm JHP or FMJ and bullseye. Thanks!Up to the max in the manual, 3.3 grains. I produced rounds that approximated what the Hodgdon manual says for the 147gr XTP. The manual says 869 fps, I got 852. But that didn't really satisfy me--I'd rather have a lot more velocity than that. On a hunch, I also loaded up a few at 3.4gr. Maybe dumb, I don't know.…

If you go with Blue Bullets, use Dolan as a discount code for 5% off. I'm using 147gr roundnose Blue Bullets, CCI primers (500, I think is the small pistol, non-magnum), and 3.1gr of Titegroup.
