May 20, 2021 · 2 years ago 157 1. No sound after latest update Hi. Ever since I updated my iPhone 8 to iOS 13 the sound during phone calls has been really bad. I can't hear anything the other person is saying on the line even at full volume. It works fine if I put the call on speaker and also on headphones, but can't hear anything on the phone itself. Turn up the volume. While you're on a call, adjust the volume with the volume buttons. Make sure that you can see the volume indicator on the screen when you press the volume buttons. Check the connections. If your iPhone is connected to a headset, you won't be able to hear through the iPhone receiver or using speakerphone.
