The easiest commute in my opinion is to live either in harlem or off the ACE or 23 subway lines (anywhere on the west side of manhattan-- washington heights, UWS, midtown west, chelsea, west village). Most affordable would probably be harlem, washington heights, morningside heights.TouroCOM Harlem.
